What is CPH?

CPH is the mark of a public health professional. CPH shows employers you go above and beyond to widen your skillset and commit to your career and the public health profession.

Why Get Certified?

With CPH, you stay current on best public health practices and raise the bar for the profession by meeting a national standard. CPH is widely recognized as the public health credential.

How much does it cost?

In 2019, Arkansas Public Health Association (ArkPHA) members can sit for the exam at discounted price of $250 (usually $385!). When you register for the CPH, indicate you are a member in your application. The price will automatically adjust.

Study Resources

Most study resources are free, but ArkPHA members will receive free access to the ASPPH CPH Study Guide which is usually $49.99. Use the code ARKPHA20 to bypass the payment process. Click here to discover the resources available.

What happens if I don’t pass?

Don’t worry! If you do not pass, NBPHE will never publish your results. You may retake the exam for a reduced fee of $150 as many times as you’d like.
