CPH Fees & Discounts
The regular fee for the CPH exam is $385.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Graduate-level students and alumni of all CEPH-accredited and CEPH-applicant schools and programs are eligible to take the exam following verification of their degree or degree status. Members of the public health workforce who meet our “work experience” criteria are also eligible to take the CPH exam.
NOTE: If your school or program is not listed as CEPH accredited, you might meet the requirements to take the exam through the “work experience” eligibility criteria.

RESCHEDULING EXAM FEE
Exams rescheduled more than 10 days prior to the exam date incur no rescheduling fee. Exams rescheduled between 2 and 10 days prior to the exam date incur a $15 rescheduling fee. Exams rescheduled less than 2 days prior to the exam date incur a $150 fee. At the time of cancellation, candidates may select a new date or temporally cancel. There is no testing deadline; CPH eligibility is indefinite. However, once CPH applications are approved, no refunds will be issued.
RETAKE EXAM FEE
After you have taken your exam (or if you were absent on your scheduled exam date) you may reapply online via CPH Central. The retake fee is $150. Once paid, you will receive an email from Meazure Learning with scheduling instructions.
EXAM FEE DISCOUNTS
The NBPHE offers partnership discounts to organizations, schools and programs of public health, and sponsoring employers who commit to promoting the Certification in Public Health.
Employees, members, students or alumni of the groups listed below will automatically receive a discount by indicating their affiliation within the CPH candidate application. For individuals with multiple affiliations, the lowest discount price will apply.
