NBPHE Holds First Ever Annual Meeting

To celebrate the start of our 20th year as an organization, The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) hosted its first-ever Annual Meeting this February. Open to everyone with an interest in public health certification, we had panels, guest speakers, and a good time.

You can now view the Annual Meeting on our YouTube page.

In this recording, you can look forward to:

  • Hearing from NBPHE Board Chair Paul Halverson, NBPHE president Allison Foster, and other NBPHE staff. Here, they share updates on current initiatives and exciting upcoming programs and projects.
  • A powerful keynote address from Dr. Donna Peterson, Dean Emerita and Professor, University of South Florida College of Public Health
  • Reflections from past and current NBPHE board members on the evolving landscape of public health and the impacts of certification.
  • Learning how NBPHE works with its valued partners to support professionalization of the public health workforce.
  • Meeting some of our wonderful CPH Ambassadors and discovering the diverse ways they contribute to public health. As well as how earning their CPH has influenced their careers, and how they proudly represent NBPHE in their communities.

We hope you enjoy watching our Annual Meeting as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.
